1. Valentines for day care friends
I was so excited to make Valentine’s for Sebastian’s day care friends. I’m also really excited to see what he brings home. They are having a party at daycare today! I found these adorable little Valentine’s on Pinterest, and since Sebastian loves cars I thought it would be perfect. (This link also has several other super cute ideas).
2. Valentines for day care teachers
I also wanted to do a little something for Sebastian’s daycare teachers. They are so great and work so hard! I found this cute little card that says “Bee My Valentine” and you tie on a Burt’s Bees Chap-stick. I haven’t met anyone who has said they don’t like Burt’s Bees so I decided this would be the perfect thing.
3. Heart banner
I recently had Matt hang up a frame on the wall to put holiday banners in to help make our house more festive. I got the idea from my friend Jess. I dug out some red felt, cut out heart shapes, punched holes, bought string and just wasn’t quite happy with it. The red felt I have is too cheap and I haven’t had a chance to buy new stuff. So, instead of posting a picture of my unfinished project, I’ll post the picture I found for inspiration.
4. Valentine Craft play date
A couple weeks ago I started a meet up group with mommy teachers at my school and hosted a craft afternoon yesterday after school. Here are a few photos from our crafting date. It was so much fun!
5. Valentine presents to Sebastian
My parents always got us Valentine’s when we were little and it was so special. I found a little heart basket at the dollar store and filled it up with goodies. Some of the things ended up being practical…a hair brush and a tooth brush. I also threw in some Valentine stickers, suckers and the left over cars from making his daycare friend’s valentine’s.
